Meet Your Teachers

Ravi Dixit (E-RYT 500)
Hatha & Ashtanga Yoga, Pranayama, Yoga Philosophy
Ravi was born in India to a family of spiritual teachers. He started his yoga practice at the age of nine, when his grandfather taught him how to chant mantras. In his early twenties he lived at several ashrams in Rishikesh, where he studied Hatha and Ashtanga with Master Yogi-Ji. Some years later, he worked as the resident teacher at one of the top retreat centres in Goa, where he led classes for thousands of students from all over the world.
In 2017 he moved to the UK and quickly became one of London’s most sought after traditional yoga teachers. During the last 15 years, he's been leading workshops, teacher trainings and transformative retreats in the UK, Europe, Asia and India and headlining several UK yoga festivals.
One evening in November 2020, Ravi’s life was turned upside down when he was critically injured in a road accident in Goa and spent over a month in Intensive Care on a ventilator. By grace and miracles he survived and he’s extremely grateful to be given a second life. He feels that the power of yoga played an essential part in his survival and recovery
"Yoga is not about the perfect pose, it’s about reconnecting with yourself and finding harmony between you and you. This will bring peace and health to your body and mind."
Yoga is in Ravi’s blood. He’s passionately committed to the practice and inspires this sense of commitment in others. His training and teaching qualifications include: Hatha yoga, Ashtanga, Iyengar, pranayama, mantra, Shat Kriya, dynamic meditation, philosophy and yoga alignment.

Taniya Nanindi
Hatha Yoga
Taniya is a traditional Hatha Yoga teacher rooted in the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta lineage. Her path has been shaped by years of disciplined ashram living, devoted self-practice, and deep study of yogic scriptures. For her, yoga is far more than a physical discipline — it is a way of living with awareness, simplicity, steadiness, and devotion.
Her journey began with an immersive year-long Hatha Yoga Vedanta Diploma at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Ashram, where she completed both her 200-hour and 500-hour Teacher Training Courses, as well as the Sadhana Intensive and Sadhana Mandalam programs. This comprehensive training deepened her understanding of yoga as a holistic and transformative spiritual path.
Taniya has had the privilege of teaching 200-hour and Advanced Teacher Training Courses, guiding students from around the world through classical Hatha Yoga, alignment, adjustments, pranayama, and philosophy. She also shares her teachings at Sampoorna Yoga. Her approach reflects the structure and depth of the ashram tradition while remaining practical and accessible, creating a supportive space where students can grow both on and off the mat.
A lifelong love for yogic philosophy continues to inspire her work. She regularly offers bhajans and kirtans as part of her sadhana, sharing the devotional heart of the practice through sound and sacred song.
Inspired by the teachings of Swami Sivananda, Swami Vishnudevananda, and their guru Swami Janardhananda, Taniya carries forward their vision of nurturing sincere spiritual seekers and future spiritual leaders. Through her teaching, she aims to help others reconnect with their inner steadiness, cultivate clarity, and embody yoga as a lifelong path.
