Terms & Conditions

At Ravi Yoga we aim to be as open as possible with regards to booking any of our classes, workshops and retreats. However, as we are ultimately running a business, we do need to have some terms & conditions in place.

Ravi Yoga Classes

Agreement to terms & conditions

By booking and/or attending any class with Ravi Yoga in person, or online, you acknowledge and agree with the terms & conditions below.

Class packages

All class packs and memberships for Ravi’s Online and ETNA Centre classes can be purchased via the online booking system Momoyoga.

Please note the terms of validity for each class pack, as listed below, and please ensure that you do use your pack by the expiry date. If you have any classes unused at the end of the term, they will not be refundable. Only in particular circumstances can we extend validity of class packages.

If Ravi is away on retreat or for personal travels, or multiple classes are cancelled for any other reason, your class pass will be extended with the time that Ravi is away or classes are cancelled. If you have any questions about this, please email us at namaste@ravi.yoga.

Once payments are received, they are non-refundable. Ravi Yoga will give a minimum of 1 month’s notice to any changes to rates or booking terms.

ETNA Centre class packs

Please note that class passes for the ETNA Centre are only valid for Ravi Dixit’s classes and do not give access to other teachers’ classes or activities at the ETNA Centre.

  • Single class pass: valid for 1 month from date of purchase.
  • 5-class pass: valid for 3 months from date of purchase.
  • 10-class pass: valid for 6 months from date of purchase.

Online yoga class packs

  • 5-class pass: valid for 4 months from date of purchase.

Memberships

Memberships are automatically renewed every month. There is no contract, and you can cancel your membership at any time.

If Ravi is away on retreat or for personal travels, or multiple classes are cancelled for any other reason, your membership will be extended with the time that Ravi is away or classes are cancelled. If you have any questions about this, please email us at namaste@ravi.yoga.

Payments are processed via Stripe and any card details are secured by Stripe (we do not have access to your card details).

Cancellations – Group classes (ETNA Centre & online)

You can cancel you class booking up to 1 hour before the class. Please go into your profile in Momoyoga and cancel your booking there. Any class credits will be refunded into your Momoyoga account if you cancel within the 1-hour window and can be used for a future booking.

Private classes – Bookings & cancellations

Bookings for private classes are made via email or text message with Ravi directly so he is familiar with your personal requirements. Rates are agreed based on requirements and location.

If you need to cancel your private class, please do so 24 hours before your scheduled session.

Cancelling or rescheduling of private classes must be made via text message or email.

Workshops – Tickets & cancellations

Workshop tickets sold through Eventbrite may be subject to an Eventbrite booking fee. Workshop tickets can be cancelled up to 7 days before the event and your money will be refunded, minus the booking fee. We cannot refund you directly; refunds need to be requested through Eventbrite up to 7 days before the event. If you are no longer able to attend, we are happy for you to transfer the ticket over to a friend or family member. If this is the case, please just let us know the name of the person attending in your place.

Your health & wellbeing

Yoga asana is a safe and effective form of movement and we take great care to ensure your wellbeing. However, you are required to take full responsibility for your own practice in class.

While we believe that Yoga can be beneficial in many ways, it is not intended to diagnose, prevent or treat any medical condition, to ascertain the state of your health, or to be used as a substitute for medical advice. Please consult a health professional for advice on any injuries, conditions or illness. It is your responsibility to make the teacher (Ravi) aware of any medical conditions, complications or physical limitations before class. You must agree to honour your body by adjusting the practice according to your own capabilities and needs to ensure that no personal injury occurs. If you are feeling any pain or illness during any class, you should stop and rest.

We cannot be held accountable should any injury occur during class.

Ravi Yoga does not accept any responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged goods. Please look after your belongings.

Ravi Yoga Retreats

Agreement to terms & conditions

By booking and/or attending a retreat with Ravi Yoga, you acknowledge and agree with the terms & conditions below.

Retreat booking & cancellation

Upon booking, a deposit payment is required. We cannot hold spaces without deposit payments.

Deposit payments are refundable up to 60 days before the retreat. If you decide to cancel your booking within 60 days of the retreat date, any payments made will only be refundable or transferable if the space can be filled. Please note: we try to be as fair and lenient as we can with our cancellation policy. Most retreat companies require a non-refundable deposit and do not offer any refunds due to late cancellation under any circumstances, even if the space can be filled.

It is down to the individual to book and pay for the relevant flights/travel to get the individual to the retreat for the start date. Ravi Yoga is not responsible for times and prices of flights. We may at times give individuals details of flights that others are partaking in, for the benefit of companionship or ease of travel. This is done in good faith and for the benefit of all concerned. We do not, however, take any responsibility in the culmination of this action and the subsequent terms attributed to the individuals involved.

Ravi Yoga cannot be held responsible, and no refunds will be made, for any cancellation or curtailment due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to: cancellations, delays or changes caused by war, threat of war, terrorist actions or threats, closure of airports, civil strife, industrial action, natural disaster, pandemics, technical problems to transport, transport staff strikes or other events beyond our control.

COVID-19: If regulations change to mean that a retreat cannot legally go ahead, any monies paid would be fully refundable or transferable.

Travel insurance

We recommend you purchase travel insurance which includes cancellation insurance. Unfortunately, we cannot predict unexpected events in our lives. By purchasing a comprehensive plan, you will ensure you are covered in full should you need to cancel after the cancellation period. Please ensure that your insurance policy includes cancellation insurance to cover you for any unexpected cancellations by yourself, including but not limited to: illness, bereavement, family emergencies, work conflicts, change of circumstances, etc., and in respect of medical expenses, injury, death and repatriation with adequate cover.

Additional points to note

All yoga and meditation sessions during retreats are optional.

Any personal health information will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.

Ravi Yoga does not accept any responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged goods. Please look after your belongings.
