Weekly classes at the ETNA Centre – information:

Ravi teaches three classes at the ETNA Centre in East Twickenham/St Margarets (near Richmond Bridge)
All classes will take place in the Attenborough Hall.

Sunday: 10.00 – 11.00
Hatha Yoga
An hour of Hatha Yoga, including asana practice (Yoga postures), pranayama breathing techniques and relaxation to bring harmony to body and mind. This class has a focus on creating flexibility and strength while connecting breath with movement. Whether you are new to Yoga or you’re looking to deepen your current practice, please feel welcome to join. (This class is also available to follow online on Zoom.) Yoga mats are provided but you are welcome to bring your own.

Tuesday: 17:30 – 18:00
Iyengar Yoga

An Iyengar Yoga inspired class. In this class you will learn about the Yoga asana (poses) in detail, focused on precision and alignment while respecting the body’s boundaries. We will be using props such as Yoga blocks and belts for support, to reach correct alignment in the postures. A great class for all levels to develop your Yoga practice.

Friday: 18.00 – 19.00
Ashtanga Yoga 
a dynamic yoga class based on the Ashtanga Primary series, to energize the body and mind. Yoga sequences are broken down to learn each pose in detail with correct alignment. This is a great class to learn and develop your yoga practice with a lot of personal attention for each student and their individual progress. Ashtanga Yoga is a stronger class, therefore some previous experience with yoga is recommended. (For a more gentle class, please see the Sunday 10am Hatha Yoga class) Yoga mats are provided but you are welcome to bring your own.

There is free parking behind the centre for those attending classes (parking entrance via Riverdale Road)
We have Yoga mats, bricks and belts available at the centre, but you are welcome to bring your own.
